In sports the cliche is that you need to be in the proper position to make the play. The same cliche works in the world of construction. To repair the ceiling in the staircase, we need to be close to the ceiling, and we want our workers TO BE SAFE! To do this we constructed two levels of scaffolding on the landing and one level in the upper hall. We spanned the middle area with seven expandable aluminum planks. The planks were covered with 4' x 8' sheets of 3/4" plywood. Voila!
